Friday Celebration Sign-Ups
January 9th - Minute- to-win-it Madness!: Students can sign-up to compete in five whacky contests. The winner of each earns a gift card.
January 16th - Karaoke Contest: Sign-up to sing a minute of a song. Teachers, students and all brave participants are welcome!
January 23rd - 3-Point Shooting Competition: Who are the best basketball shooters at DGS Northfield? We will have a girls tournament and boys tournament. Round 1 will be free throws and the finals will be three pointers. Each winner gets a ticket to a Nuggets game for themself and a friend.
January 30th - Dodgeball Tournament: The eighth DGS Northfield Dodgeball Tournament
February 6th - Jeopardy: Students can sign-up to participate in Jeopardy tryouts, which is a computer based assessment during Tuesday Office Hours on February 3rd.
February 20th - Winter Music Showcase: Whether you want to sing or play an instrument, we want you to perform. Sign-up on the form and work with Mr. Q to prepare your act.
March 6th - Staff v Student Volleyball
March 13th - Price is Right: Students will get called down to compete in “One Bid” and then students will compete in Price is Right Games for prizes. No need to sign-up.
March 20th - Talent Show: Sign-up to compete in our 7th annual talent show
April 4th - Grade Level Trivia: Each grade will form one 6 person team for a trivia competition. The categories of trivia will be sports, pop culture, geography, history, STEM, music and movies. The winning grade earns popsicles.
April 10th - DGSN Superstar: In this competition, contestants will compete in four competitions and we will crown a champion based on total performance. The competitions are a race, bottle flipping, academic trivia and name that tune. There is a boys and girls competition. The winner gets a $25 Target gift card.
April 17th - Staff v student basketball
April 24th - Video Contest: Submit a silly video, a video of you doing something cool (skiing, trampoline tricks, trick shots) or whatever you want.
May 8th - Teacher Appreciation: Fill out this form to identify a teacher you want to celebrate
May 15th - Staff v Student Futsal: Sr. Barney and coach Nike will organize a team of staff to play against a team of students.
May 22nd - Summer Olympics: Sign up to compete in the fourth of our olympic competitions.
